Children’s stories, like nursery rhymes and Aesop’s Fables, often have a moral or significant event underpinning them.  Christina’s children’s books follow the same pattern.  And, whilst the moral or underpinning event might not “slap you in the face”, it is still there, cocooned in adventures informed by life experiences.

Beginning as an Hypnotherapist, Christina expanded her portfolio of complementary therapies. This category contains the books she has written capturing the learning she developed during her career.

This is a latent interest of Christina’s that she has been developing now that she has more time to devote to it,

Contains the results of Roger’s Ph. D. work

Roger was ‘volunteered’ to deliver a Basic Photo Editing Course for members of South Waikato Seniornet. This contains the course manual that he put together.

Particularly during his time as a Lecturer in Information Systems at the Cranfield School of Management, Roger wrote and/or was interviewed for various articles on the subject of information systems management. Derived from his 25 years experience as an IS/IT practitioner, he had a particular interest in supporting journals supporting practitioner interests.

Computer Weekly was a prominent free publication for practitioners. For a period they featured a ‘Strategy Clinic’ whereby readers could poise questions that would be addressed by a panel of “experts”. Roger was a frequent member of the panel.

Papers Roger delivered at various conferences

By the late 1970s, Roger had been variously a programmer, programming manager and systems analyst for some 7-8 years and had taken for granted that IT was inherently ‘a good thing’. Joining TDS Circuits Ltd (later plc) as DPM, he was challenged by the MD, the late David Taylor, to justify the existence of his department in David’s company. Thus began a journey lasting many decades into how to ‘measure’ the value of information and information technology to an organisation. This category contains writings and thoughts that were produced at the start of this journey.
